In her years at Swarthmore College, Patricia has led Film and Media Studies from a cluster of courses to a dynamic department. In addition to offering courses in feminist, queer, and world cinema, women and media, and film and critical theory, she frequently programs visiting filmmakers and guest speakers. Recently the department hosted visits form Xiaolu Guo, Louisa Wei, Todd Haynes and Christine Vachon.
